Resting Heron by David H. Turner The Great Blue Heron is known for its alertness and focus while stalking its prey, but it is also known for its grace and serenity while at rest. This tranquility will be captured in the latest Heron sculpture by David Turner. With the head turned slightly to its right, this Heron rests on one leg with the other leg nestled into its body. Oyster shells complement the base. To accommodate our customer's preferences, we will be casting this Heron in three different sizes: full size, half size, and for the first time ever, a smaller 13" tall version. Each bronze will be mounted on a proportionately sized green marble base. Bronze bases are recommended for outdoor placement. Order before December 21st, and receive a special Heron Gift Box, which includes an elegantly embossed presentation folder with the sketch of the Resting Heron by David Turner, along with the Artist's Statement. Also included is a signed and framed 5x7 limited edition print by William H. Turner of a Great Blue Heron. |
